STEPHEN S. MUGGEO, LICSW
I have been practicing Psychotherapy for over 30 years. I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples and families. The cornerstone of my practice is providing a compassionate, non-judgemental atmosphere for individuals, couples and families to explore their fullest potential and achieve a balanced and fulfilling life. I utilize a variety of modalities in my practice including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy. I pride myself on evaluating each individual, couple and family and tailoring the course of therapy to meet specific needs. This includes working on targeted difficulties and/or personal growth.
I completed my graduate studies and earned my Master of Social Work at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service in New York. My undergraduate degree is in Psychology from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. For my secondary education, I attended King School in Stamford, Connecticut.
